Prestigious Honors That Inspire And Drive QMTI Forward

National Award for the Welfare of People with Disabilities

We are honoured to receive this award from the Hon. President of India on 03 December 1997. This award was presented in public recognition of QMTI’s outstanding performance in the field of the welfare of people with disabilities. The award was conferred by the esteemed Hon’ble Shri KR Narayanan to Col AK Moge, then CEO of QMTI.

FICCI Award for Training and Placement of Disabled Persons

QMTI was honoured with the 1992-93 FICCI award for its pioneering effort of training 7000 disabled soldiers of the Armed Forces in various vocational trades. Various activities such as training the students in cutting & tailoring, power loom weaving, hosiery, knitting, dyeing and printing on an “Earn while you learn” basis and provisions of living accommodation to disabled on a nominal rental basis have gone in the amelioration of the lot of disabled. The award was given by Hon’ble Shri Narsimha Rao, then Prime Minister of India, to Col AK Moge, then CEO, on 28 September 1993.

Apang Kalyankari Seva Award

We are highly privileged and glad to receive an award constituted by “The Society for the Welfare of the Differently Abled Persons (Physically Handicapped), Education and Research Centre,” Wanwadi, Pune, on 13 December 2015. The award has been given in deep appreciation of sincerity, dedication and hard work in imparting vocational training to disabled soldiers for their respectable rehabilitation in society. By conferring this award, QMTI has been recognised by them as a benchmark for other institutions. 

Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award

It brings immense pleasure to have this award by Indian Solidarity Council, New Delhi, for outstanding achievements in the field of education on 12 August 2015.
